Leaders of the worlds Zoos and Aquariums... Bienvenidos... We welcome you!

We are the largest community of conservationists in the world and at Africam Safari Puebla we are proud to be a WAZA member and to welcome all of you to the WAZA 2016 Conference to explore our theme "People in conservation: Zoos and Aquariums as agents of change".

For Puebla and for Mexico it’s an honor to host this talented group of professionals, committed to the welfare and protection of the species under our care, determined to stop the extinction of species, and to BE agents of positive change in the natural world in which we live.

Together we will discuss the challenges that we currently face, consider the roles of individuals and society towards conservation of biodiversity, and find solutions that integrate scientific, biological, but especially the social, cultural and economic aspects, so that these solutions are inclusive, comprehensive and sustainable long term.

We will live an adventure in one of the richest countries in biodiversity, Mexico, and in a city full of history, culture, modernity and tradition, Puebla.
